An animal lover jumps at the opportunity to try new technology that allows her to communicate with animals in an exciting new way. Scientists have discovered how to "hop" human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals as animals! When Mabel "hops" her mind into a robotic beaver, she jumps at the chance to truly understand wildlife. Mabel wakes up as a robotic beaver in the forest surrounded by wildlife that she can now understand and communicate with. But as she begins her journey, she quickly learns that the forest operates by its own rules. From power-hungry predators to territorial herbivores, Mabel must navigate a strict food chain and a complex social hierarchy, where one wrong move could mean exile — or worse.
